Painted Calipers

I painted the brake calipers blue. The color is a close match for the stainless steel brake lines. The effect is rather subtle, which is what I wanted.

The paint is standard grade Rust-Oleum Enamel. The color is Royal Blue. I cleaned the calipers as best I could with spray brake cleaner and then bushed on the paint with an old toothbrush.

The main part of the front calipers were removed for painting. The rest were painted on the car. The rear calipers were painted on the car. The brake pads were removed prior to painting.
