Magazine Rack

This was a gift for my Mom.

This was one of my first projects. It turned out nice enough that I figured I should continue building things. I used plans published in Woodsmith magazine #48. It is made from white oak. The spindles were purchased from a woodworking supply company. For a finish, I used plain tung oil.

The picture is not very good but it's the only one I have. Maybe I'll remember to take a new next time I visit my parents.
