Upstairs Punchlist
Here’s the list of what needs to be done upstairs. Ordered roughly by priority.
Demo upstairs bedroomsFinish demo of closetDemo bathroomFrame new wall and new door opening- Remove/cap unused vent line

At one point I estimated about 10 (more) weekends of work to do the upstairs. I think that was after the first or second weekend of work. So if that estimate holds we should be about 1/2 way done at the time of this comment but only about 1/3 of the items are crossed off the list (22 items remaining).

Hmm, another weekend gone and no new items crossed off the list. If I try and break down the remaining tasks it looks something like this:
weekend n-2 - drywall, insulation & sub-floor
weekend n-1 - drywall prep
weekend n+0 - finish drywall prep for texture
weekend n+1 - texture & prime
weekend n+2 - paint & start bathroom floor tile & finish bathroom electrical
weekend n+3 - finish bathroom tile & re-install vanity & toilet
weekend n+4 - install doors & start knee wall framing
weekend n+5 - install laminate
weekend n+6 - finish laminate (baseboard & casing?)
weekend n+7 - knee wall work
weekend n+8 - knee wall work
weekend n+9 - knee wall work
So my original estimate of 10 weekends was maybe off by 50% and should have been more like 15 weekends
